Advice 

My advice is simple, JUST GO. It is the most overwhelming, amazing, entertaining and fun week of your life. There is so much going on but in the best way possible. The creativity you see in this week is more than you will probably see in a lifetime without going, Cannes is filled with some of the most amazing people and it truly is an indescribable week. So my simple advice is to just go and experience it for yourself, I guarantee you will not regret it. Also you're studying abroad on the coast of France, what's better than that.
